The book outlines the objectives of the study: determination of the ways, methods and forms of transformation and improvement of regional environmental management systems that ensure stable and improving ecological and socio-economic situation in specific regions of the Russian Federation. The author proposes a fundamentally new functional scheme for the organization of environmental management at the regional level, as well as ways and methods for its implementation in specific regions.
