Innovative Mechanisms in Environmental Management: Urban Natural (Environmental) Budget

The book outlines the results of research and practical work on the development and inclusion of the natural (environmental) budget as an innovative mechanism of territorial environmental management and environmental protection in the system of decision-making in cities. Resulted from the examination of various aspects of sustainable development and modern resource management, it was concluded that it is necessary to include sustainable development indicators in urban governance on the basis of the mechanism of the natural (environmental) budget. The report includes the description of the budget and its structure, methodological approaches to the development of the budget and the choice of its indicators. The book presents the results of practical works on determination of the indicators of sustainable development of the town of Mezhdurechensk in the Kemerovo region and their inclusion in the urban management system.
