The training manual* describes the assessment of environmental impacts - the topic is current and relevant, as modern domestic and foreign experience of environmental management shows that insufficient consideration of the environmental consequences of the implementation of economic and other projects leads to the selection of inefficient solutions that affect the state of the environment and ultimately cause negative consequences in the economic and social sphere, hinder the trends of sustainable development. The proposed training manual is aimed at forming a systemic view of students in higher education institutions regarding methods for assessing environmental damage. The manual contains a modern understanding of the assessment of environmental damage caused by environmental impacts; the main directions of environmental damage assessment in the projects, including a general description and evaluation of the economic efficiency of the projects; provides an analytical overview of domestic and international approaches to the assessment of environmental damage. The manual is of interest to bachelors and masters, as well as all those interested in these issues.
