Our employees participated in a meeting on the preparation of a methodology for calculating the amount of harm to environmental components from air pollution

The meeting was held in the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of the Russian Federation under the chairmanship of the Minister of Natural Resources and Environment of the Russian Federation Sergey Donskoy. The meeting was attended by representatives of the State Environmental Supervision Agency of Rosprirodnadzor, the Department of State Policy and Regulation in the Field of Environmental Protection and Safety of the Ministry of Natural Resources of Russia, the Department of Economics and Finance of the Ministry of Natural Resources of Russia and Roshydromet.

The conceptual discussion of the methodology included the opinions of business and federal authorities. It was assumed that in the near future it is necessary to reorient the requirements for environmental liability to eliminate harm and to assess environmental damage, primarily based on the needs and cost of restoring the environment harmed.
