Leading experts of the group of companies took part in the international conference “Practical Geography and Challenges of the 21st Century” dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Institute of Geography of the Russian Academy of Sciences 
   
   The conference was organized by the International Geographical Union and the Institute of Geography of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The event was supported by the Russian Geographical Society.
   The main goal of the conference was to summarize Russian and international experience in practical researches in the geography of nature and society, meeting the diverse and acute challenges of the 21st century. Leading geographers from 40 countries discussed global geopolitical challenges, problems of climate change, urban development, Arctic exploration, migration, biodiversity conservation, problems of geographic education at schools and much more.
