Fifteenth session of the Joint Task Force on Environmental Statistics and Indicators took place in Geneva 

Representatives of international organizations and structures (Eurostat, European Environment Protection Agency, WHO European Center for Environment and Health, UNECE Secretariat of Convention on Long-Range Transboundary Air Pollution, etc.) attended the meeting as well as environmental ministries and agencies from Eastern Europe, the Caucasus, Central Asia (EECCA) and interested countries of South-Eastern Europe (SEE), Austria, representatives of national statistical office of Switzerland and the CIS Interstate Statistics Committee). 

The session focused on revising the UNECE Handbook on the Application of Environmental Indicators in conjunction with such important topics as the Sustainable Development Goals, the Paris Climate Agreement, and the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction. 

The experts of "Resources and Consulting" – Doctor of Science in Geography, Professor Georgy Fomenko and PhD in Geography, Associate Professor Marina Fomenko – were invited to take part in the meeting.
