The Space of Risk to the Health of the Population of the Old Developed Regions (on the Example of the Yaroslavl Region)

The article justifies the need to use theory and practice of risks, not only to determine risks to public health, but also to reorient the environmental management system towards the consideration of risk in town planning decisions. The research considers, defines and substantiates the priority of chemical toxicants, specific for the Yaroslavl region, polluting the atmospheric air and forming a risk to public health, and draws a short list of "indicator substances" necessary for monitoring of potential danger in the territory.
