Development of an Action Plan for the regulation of air emissions during adverse weather conditions

The Action Plan was developed for one of the five largest carbon black producers in the world. The company is in the list of business entities that are required to regulate air emissions during adverse weather conditions.

Measures to reduce emissions during adverse weather conditions are prepared for three operating modes of the enterprise:

  • organizational and technical measures of the first mode do not significantly affect the production process. This group of measures provides a reduction in the concentration of pollutants in the surface layer of the atmosphere by about 15%;

  • measures of the second mode provide a reduction in the concentration of pollutants in the surface layer of the atmosphere by about 22%;

  • measures of the third operating mode provide a reduction in the concentration of pollutants in the surface layer of the atmosphere by more than 42%.

Implementation of the developed measures during adverse weather conditions will not affect the main production activities and will not cause economic damage to the enterprise.
