Methodological Recommendations on Economic Assessment of Forest and Hunting Resources (as Non-Cultivated Biological Resources) in Accordance with Methodological Principles SNA-2008 and SEEA-2012

Methodological recommendations on economic assessment of forest and hunting resources* (as non-cultivated biological resources) were developed within the framework of the execution of the Order of the Government of the Russian Federation of 12.10.2012 №1911-р and according to theoretical approaches SNA-2008 and SEEA-2012 to assessment of non-cultivated biological resources and reflection of obtained indicators in relevant accounts of assets and operations with them. Вook reflects main notions of forest and hunting resources as non-cultivated biological resources in connection with their assessment within natural capital according to principles of the SNA/SEEA; she comment on methodological approaches of SNA/SEEA in terms of general principles and features of the assessment of those resources at the current market price in present institutional conditions of the Russian Federation and statistical reality; she contain the order of implementation of calculations on the assessment of forest resources (timber and non-timber forest products) and hunting resources, as well as calculation of resource rent and present market value of non-cultivated biological resources. Methodological recommendations are intended for the use in the work of federal and responsible bodies of executive power in the subjects of the Russian Federation, as well as other interested bodies of state power, of specialists and practitioners.
