Evaluation and assessment of environmental impacts

In accordance with the principle “polluter pays”, enterprises that have a negative impact on the environment are subject to regulatory requirements to minimize that impact. Such requirements largely depend on the location of the enterprise, the distance to residential areas, the location of water bodies and groundwater, the distribution of flora and fauna. Ensuring compliance with these requirements and at the same time minimizing the environmental expenditures of the enterprise is possible at the pre-project stage, including choosing a location for the facility taking into account minimizing the negative impact and conducting environmental impact assessment. International financial organizations also have a requirement for the applicants to conduct an environmental impact assessment.

For more than 20 years we have been carrying out environmental impact assessments of the construction of industrial facilities in accordance with the requirements of the World Bank and the International Finance Corporation. We prepare all the necessary documents, which confirm environmental measures and minimization of the negative impact on the environment and human health.

We carry out impact assessments on several possible options for locating an enterprise to select a site where the environmental impact will be minimal. Impact assessment is carried out for all components of the environment (air, water bodies, soil, vegetation and wildlife).

We develop the environmental section of the enterprise construction project, which includes a description of the environmental impact of the proposed activity and measures to reduce the negative impact.

We provide support to our clients in verification of environmental impact assessments and the environmental section of the construction project in all relevant agencies.

Our clients note high efficiency of our work, as well as the fact that we help to provide reports to financial organizations, to reduce expenditures associated with environmental protection and the implementation of environmental measures.
